filmmaking is a very serious endeavour that involves plummeting to the depths of the human psyche. our director @sophsomerville has lived a very serious life. one time she tried to direct chickens and make a 'Neighbours'-esque kind of soap where we go really deep into the drama of the coop. (later she would use this as inspiration for her short film Peeps). she has also recently gotten a robotic vacuum cleaner and she watches it go about its mysterious cleaning duties with great wonder and curiousity. there is so much in this world we do not understand. hi fwends!! here is a cool picture of a turkey that I (Sophie) took on one of our shoot days. I don't really know why I took this photo. Sadly the turkey is not in the film. It was all a blur and I don't know why I was taking photos of a turkey instead of being the director. Turkeys can’t write or direct films, but people can. And for that we are so thankful.
